Detailed below are the main business reasons why we include website hosting as part of our package 

1. Responsibility
Hardware providers (hosting) often blame the software provider when a website has performance issues or is down and software providers blame the hardware providers. If we manage your hosting then there is only one place to call for help 
 
2. Knowledge
Most server farms do not have an effective telephone support service that can communicate in non technical language. They are either too technical or do not have telephone support. We have both and understand the potential issues a website we have built may have
 
3. Stability
We use Linux/Unix operating systems that have been proven to be very stable and robust. A web site housed on a Linux operating system will have very high up-time (of the order of 99.9%)
 
4. Server Monitoring 
We provide monitoring of key pages on your website every five minutes so if a site fails on 3 occasions we get a text message and can investigate and resolve any issues before you even find out your site is down
 
We auto create a zipped back up of your entire website every day to a separate server in a separate data centre. If required we can also offer an additional service to back your website up to Google Docs or any other FTP enabled file server
 
We can offer temporary server space so in the event that a data centre or server goes down so your site can be back and running in minutes
 
7. Performance
We monitor software and hardware performance so if visitor numbers or activity are creating performance problems then we can advise you and help plan extra server capacity
 
9. Security
All our sites are hosted on dedicated servers in reputable data centres no other application have access to the servers unless though our controlled open source API or control panel
 
The datasite package includes free disaster recovery to your last automated backup. Automated back ups are taken each night and in the event that a web server breaks down we can move your site to a new server within 6 hours
 
Because we lease servers we always use the latest hardware available and tend to replace our servers every 12 months to ensure optimum perforamnce
 
For most websites a shared server is the most common requirement but if you have a website that is likely to experience high traffic (20 hits per second) then we would recommend upgrading to a dedicated server .
