Payment Service Providers

To accept payments online you will need to select a PSP. A Payment Service Provider (PSP) offers online services for accepting electronic payments by a variety of payment methods including credit card. Datasite support most of the main PSPs which are detailed opposite

Many of the banks also offer PSP services but before selecting a PSP you need to consider the following questions

1. Internet Merchant Account - you will also need an internet merchnat account - have you got one set up? what deals are avilable?
2. Deals Available - what would suit you best fixed transaction fee or % of transaction value?
3. Monthly Service Cost - what is the monthly cost can this be used up as part of the processing fees?
4. Number of Transactions Likely - have you estimated the number of transactions?
5. Existing Credit Card Arrangements - do you have any and could the service also be used for recurring payments or for existing customer online bill payment?
6. Special Requirements - are you likely to need to process recurring payments or on account payments from your customers?
