Product Configuration Options
Another key feature of the datasite platform is the number of options available for configuring the product and service database
You can create a vast number of different types of products and categories by changing the settings in the Business Control Panel. This means different ways of displaying products, calculating prices and processing orders. Detailed below are some of the relevant features
- Main Categories / Sub Categories to aid navigation and single product in muliple categories option
- Categories for Special Offers, Best Sellers & Promotions
- Main Products with drop down options for colour, size etc
- Unlimted extra Product Classifications for brand, manufacturer, material etc
- Optional Extra Costs for delivery, packaging, personalisation
- Auto add extra Products or Services in the basket based on product selected
- Highly Configurable Product Detail View can include stock
- Unlimted Call to Actions can be tailored at product detail level
- Display related product options in the basket or on detail view to aid up selling
Add your own Product Icons and Colour Cards
Upload your own images to represent Special Offers, Best Sellers, New Products or whatever you want then drag and drop them onto products or mass import them. You can also add colours to products with different options so the system auto creates an on screen colour card
Add Dropship Products
Classify a product as 'dropship' in the product database and the website will be able to take the order and forward a purchase order direct to the supplier for fulfilment. Suppliers will be then able to log onto the Business Control Panel to confirm orders despatched and Purchase Orders can be downloaded into your accounts system
Add Customer Reviews and Feedback
Feedback is becoming an increasingly important way of selling online. This easy to use feedback system can be added to every product on your site. Reviews can then be moderated and displayed against each product. This is a great way to give people confidence when buying online
Add Call to Action Links
Call to action links are probably the single most important feature in the product detail view. They are totally customisable right down to individual product level and can launch virtually any action from live chat, to product demo to a download link or form. Research proves that these will increase your website conversions
Add Tabs to Segment Product Data
When you have a lot of product information and want to organise it in a clear and logical way then our product information tab are a great feature to help you present your products. Using your CSS template you can create tabs for decription, specification, reviews or almost any key feature you want
