Can we use our existing web designers?
Yes as long as your designer understand CSS then they will be able create any look you want for your website. We have also put together a list of recomended designers

What happens if we want a feature not included on your list?
If what you want is not

What is the minimum period that we have to commit to?
Our minimum contract is usually 12 months - however if you would like to consider a shorter term we are always happy to discuss

Can we host on our own servers?
All datasites include hosting as part of the price. We feel that any important business system should be on a dedictaed server and as your technical partner we can offer you better service and value than a third party hosting provider. You can find out more about the benefits on the Datasite Hosting page. However if you feel strongly you would like to host elsewhere we would be happy to discuss your requirements 

What about integration with our accounts system?
We offer integration with Sage & our own Datasite Accounting out of the box and using our web services API either ourselves or another programmer should be able to integrate with most other accounting packages

Is Datasite W3C compliant?
All our precoded pages and creation of dynamic pages conform to W3C guidelines. If you are adding your own content then care must be taken to ensure this also conforms to W3C standards. We recomend employing the services of a professional designer to ensure this happens

I have been asked to integrate with my customers systems  can you help?
This is usually known as punch out and uses a language called cXML. It is something we have been involved in a lot and can quickly integrate with most other systems. We have experience with Ariba, Perfect Commerce, SAP & Oracle 

What happens if at some point we wish to move the web site away from Versatilia?
Thats not a problem in the unlikely event you want to move your site away from us - you can take your website design (the CSS layer) and a back up of your data. All website content is stored in the datasite database

What guarantees can you offer that in the unlikely event that anything
should happen to your company, our site is not affected?
Each night your website is backed up - this back up is available for you to download so can be kept at a separate location. We are also prepared to enter into a Software Escrow License with the Nationa Computer Centre in Manchester (Separate Cost) then in the unlikely event that our company ceases to trade you get full access to our programming code
